Meanwhile… Here I go showing my age, but some of us can remember watching television in the (nineteen) eighties, and you may have come across the series known as “Max Headroom”.
There’s a brief synopsis here but I was mostly taken with the characters in an episode titled “Blanks”.
The series being set in “20 minutes into the future” portrayed a number of people known as “blanks”, because they had managed to erase any record of having ever been entered into any computer system of any type. This was highly illegal, of course, and ensured a lifestyle of fugitivity from the ubiquitous fascists.
The leader of the group was known as Blank Reg (pictured below) and used his noble ideals as motivation to strike back at a severely warped society.
